Aloe Vera for hair

Aloe Vera is one of the latest hair super heroes. You may have seen its green leaves poking around on Tik Tok but did you know it can minimise hair loss and improve hair health? Simply use Aloe Vera Gel as if it was a hair mask.

It is rich in moisturising properties. You can apply the gel as a hair mask, as a hair gel or even just as an extra bit of moisturiser in the same way as you moisturise your body.

Aloe Vera will remove grease build up: This might seem counterintuitive, but Aloe Vera is amazing at removing grease build-up in your hair as well as moisturising it. Aloe Vera contains Saponin, an effective cleaning agent which cleanses the hair without leaving it dry and malnourished.

Can Aloe Vera cause damage to my hair?

Aloe Vera can be used on dry or oily hair. Although Aloe Vera is ideal for adding extra nourishment to dry hair it does contain mild astringents (cleansers) that can make the hair dry or brittle. It’s recommended to always use a natural oil as an added moisturiser. If you have normal or oily hair, I recommend using Aloe Vera once or twice a week and if you have dry hair, you could use Aloe Vera up to three times per week.

Glowing skin, shiny hair – Aloe Vera might be just what you're looking for.
